Our brand Squeaky Bean, famous for its category leading ready to eat vegan meat alternatives, has launched its brand-new Heat & Eat range, with epic seasoned chicken and tandoori chicken style pieces that are perfect after a quick pan fry.
Launching in time for Veganuary and building on its reputation for delicious, ready to eat meat alternatives that pack a punch, Squeaky Bean is bringing its famous flavour to a new range that has been specifically designed for cooking.
The new range follows the launch of Squeaky Bean’s first ready to cook product, Cooking Chorizo Style Sausage, into Waitrose in December. Both products have been developed after feedback from consumers, who are increasingly looking to cook with its ready to eat products.
While the current ready to eat ranges have been designed to be delicious when eaten cold as part of sandwiches and salads for lunch, the new Heat & Eat range has been specifically created to be cooked and enjoyed in consumer’s favourite dinner recipes.
With multiple servings per bag, the new Squeaky Bean Seasoned Chicken Style Pieces are simply seasoned with a dash of salt and pepper, making them the perfect base for a range of sauces and spices, whether you’re looking to tuck in to a tasty mid-week stir fry, whip up fajitas for friends or bring some bite to a delicious new pasta recipe.
Delivering the epic flavour that has become Squeaky Bean’s trademark, the Squeaky Bean Tandoori Chicken Style Pieces bring together a tasty blend of aromatic spices that act as the perfect base for the nation’s favourite curry dishes, making them easy to enjoy in a wrap with raita, pickled red onion and dollops of chutney, or whatever Indian inspired creations you decide to bring to the dinner table.
Both chicken style pieces are the perfect sidekick for cooking up a storm in the kitchen and can be pan fried in under five minutes with just a splash of oil. Each recipe has been designed to ensure Squeaky Bean’s famous taste and texture holds up when you sizzle in the pan, appealing to a broader range of consumers at a time when almost half (46%) of British adults are considering reducing their intake of animal products.
Rebecca Youseman, Brand Manager at Squeaky Bean, said: “At Squeaky Bean we’ve perfected tasty textures that hit the spot in those fridge to face moments with our ready to eat range. However, when our fans said they wanted to cook with Squeaky, not just snack on it, we knew we had to listen!
“The result is a range of great tasting ready to cook chicken style pieces that don’t compromise on that famous Squeaky flavour. With our Seasoned Chicken Style Pieces offering a lightly seasoned option and our Tandoori Chicken Style Pieces delivering a spicy kick, the Heat & Eat range will help bring more plant-based excitement to the kitchen, while holding that fantastic texture our products are known for.
“We believe that plant-based food should be an exciting choice rather than a chore, and we are certain these new products offer just that – a craveable, convenient, ready to cook choice that will convert even the biggest of meat eaters.”
