Children’s baking at Ginger and Spice Festival

This year, our Palethorpes Bakery was the headline sponsor for the Children’s Cookery Theatre at the sixth annual Ginger and Spice Festival in Market Drayton.

As part of this, a group of chefs from Palethorpes Bakery led a series of cookery workshops for children. We focused on choosing seasonal and local ingredients to help encourage a more sustainable and healthier lifestyle.

Over 50 children took part in the event, where we helped them to make a selection of mini pies and pinwheels. They all did a great job, and we certainly have future baking talent in the town!
