Our Commercial department is thrilled to announce a fantastic 12 Month Fixed Term opportunity to cover as a Commercial Executive, joining our brilliant team in Stockton on Tees at our Wynyard Offices.

You will quickly establish yourself as an integral part of The Compleat Food Group Commercial Customer team, fulfilling key responsibilities to become the go-to contact for our customers.

Providing accurate analytical support to the commercial team, driving strategic direction for TCFG and our customers. Collaborating closely with our internal supply chain, category, NPD, and the site teams to ensure a two-way flow of information that identifies opportunities to enhance our performance to our customers.

Commercial Executive's hold a key role in our business providing an important support function to our internal supply chain and commercial team by highlighting issues affecting sales, waste, and other key metrics.

Working Hours:

The working hours in this role are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm, with a 4pm finish on a Friday!

Travel will occasionally be a requirement to attend meetings across other TCFG sites, so a driving licence is required.

What you will be doing:

You will be responsible for supporting the Commercial team with delivering excellent service across customer accounts. Including administrative support to the senior management team with analysis, data gathering and report writing.

  • Analysis of sales performance reports
  • Working with Commercial Managers to support with administrative tasks and reports
  • Proactive and helpful approach to problem solving across customer accounts
  • Delivering excellent service with all aspects of account interaction
  • Provide data analysis for senior leadership team, collating information for meeting reports, data gathering, etc.
  • To establish yourself as an integral part of The Compleat Food Group Commercial team
  • To be the custodian of the internal and external Retailer data for all areas of TCFG supply and relevant non-supply areas. 
  • To provide analytical support to the commercial team, which will be integral in driving strategic direction for TCFG & our customers. 
  • Work closely with the internal supply chain, category, and NPD and site teams to ensure there is a two-way supply of information sharing that drives opportunities to enhance performance. 
  • Provide support to internal supply chain & commercial team to highlight issues affecting sales, waste and other key metrics. 
  • To represent TCFG in front of our customers in a professional manner befitting of a world class supplier. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing weekly reports 
  • Promotion Management, Forecasting, and Analysis both Internally and Externally  
  • Setting up and maintaining product information
  • Maintaining product forecasts across all lines, working with Supply Chain to ensure forecast accuracy.  
  • Attend Store visits as required to ensure that products are ranged correctly with a high level of availability, while seeking out newness and changes in stores  
  • Manage processes with NPD 
  • Support the organisation of customer meetings, visits and exhibitions and attend relevant customer meetings to grow your experience and enhance relationships 
  • Monitor and challenge Customer service levels, communicating with all stakeholders  
  • Pricing Management, ensuring systems are aligned with the correct costs 
  • Co-ordinate samples and couriers 

Knowledge and Skills/Training/Experience 

Must: 

  • Be highly numerate with a logical & analytical approach to problem solving. 
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Be PC Literate & have working expertise of Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint.   
  • Have experience of using data management systems  
  • Have excellent communication, presentation skills both verbal & written. 
  • Have the ability to work under pressure with desire to ‘go the extra mile’.  
  • Possess strong organisational skills & ability to prioritise workload. 
  • Be able to demonstrate ability to use initiative & exceed expectations. 
  • Driving Licence
