We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Training Coordinator to join our team in Market Drayton.

You will be responsible for maintaining training records across the factory and ensuring robust governance and compliance is in place so that we meet business and customer requirements.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday 08:00-16:30 and Fridays 08:00-15:30. Potentially flexibility with working hours 

 

Your Duties Will Include:

  • Ensure training and electronic files including on the Learning Management System are accurately maintained
  • Successfully carry out weekly new training inductions for new starters
  • Implements training records transfer to new system
  • Liaises with on-site training coordinators to manage training records
  • Supporting HR and Training with any admin duties
  • Actively drives completion of training
  • Work in partnership with Subject Matter Experts and Technical Teams to ensure correct balance of compliance (not overwhelming for operations – but maintains compliance)
  • Develops good course content and training materials, ensuring document controls and content is reviewed and updated on a regular and accurate basis
  • Ensure new starters/ employees who move role receive appropriate training within agreed timescales
  • Ensures refresher training is completed
  • Know Health & Safety responsibilities, the site rules, and bring to the attention to issues that could affect own, or others Health, Safety & Welfare
  • Participate fully in all Health, Safety & Environmental training sessions, and Safety Briefings / Toolbox Talks  
  • Ensure that correct procedures are being followed, paperwork is being filled out correctly and the quality of product is good
  • Ensuring working area is clean and tidy  

 

Experience:

  • Good knowledge of Good Manufacturing Standards
  • Excellent level of IT skills is a must (e.g., word/excel/PowerPoint/outlook)
  • Energy drive and determination to succeed.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships external & internal colleagues.
  • Proactive nature, willing to learn quickly and to take new challenges.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to carry out inductions
  • Team working skills across disciplines and departments.
  • Self-motivated with ability to motivate others
  • Experience with SOPs and CCPs
  • HACCP level 2 desired
  • Ideally experience as a trainer/admin in a manufacturer role
